Russian General Pitches ‘Information’ Operations as a Form of War - The New York Times

A couple of generations on, and the New York Times reports ("Russian General Pitches ‘Information’ Operations as a Form of War", 2nd March 2019) that the chief of Russia’s armed forces, General Valery V. Gerasimov, gave a speech at a conference on the future of Russian military strategy recapitulating a journal article he wrote in 2013 saying that there are no clear borders between war and peace in the modern world.
